New to Yoga? New to Balanced Yoga?

We appreciate your interest in yoga and understand that new students sometimes don’t know where to start. Yoga has a rich history and with regular practice can benefit the mind and the body.

That is why we have a yoga advisor, someone that can help you navigate our studio and the practice of yoga.  We'd like you to meet Gina Derry.  Gina can help you with your questions about the best place to start and she can help you create a plan that meets your needs and practice.  We all come to yoga for various reasons - there is no expectation that you have previous skill, knowledge, or a spiritual goal.  Our purpose is to create an environment that is welcoming and encouraging.  If you should develop interest in a deeper study of yoga philosophy, Gina can guide you through our offerings.  Please feel free to contact Gina with your yoga related questions or concerns.

If you are brand new to yoga we recommend (but don't require) that you take our Yoga Foundations class. Please see our class schedules and register today. If you are still unsure or have further questions, please email us using the form above and allow us to help you build a program that meets your needs.

After a few quick questions we can guide you toward the class style and level that fits your experience and goals. We can give you further insight into class descriptions and levels offered at our studios and ensure your yoga experience is a positive one.
